Andrew J. Mackay
A scientist will tell you that spirits, the soul, are false delusions. Using graphs and numbers, he will show you the truth. The cold, hard reality. Beyond that is nothing, in fact there is no beyond. There is a wall that encircles the tangible.Never mind the creativity of the mind; man's transcendent nature. An imagined object is not real--but is it nothing? There are no more definite lines. There are no more pretty, solid walls. Flux, chaos, sky beneath the earth and life shrinking into primordial void.
There are times when, in a darkest cavern, words uttered millennia ago still echo. When across a forlorn plain gunshots pepper a bewildered conscious. Men upon thrones are kings when they please--divine right created by a man-made god.
Tell not that one plane man rests upon. For the power of eternal mind travels through time, space, and the very nature of existence on a whim. And with that, nothing can be sensible. No walls can tame a wandering soul.
