Soliloquy of Ra

Andrew J. Mackay

Eternally vigilant, I alone outlive the tides of man. I enlighten their greatest monuments, I cast shadows on their vice and sin. I tell not but reveal all.

The Old Master says I have a kindred twin in the moon; lies. I warm kindly and burn savagely. Without me one cannot see, yet gaze into my depths- I blind. Yin, yang. The balance of the Cosmos- myself a humble avatar.
